Introducing Borgogno’s Barolo Riserva Vertical Collection

We can’t think of a better way to dive in to the wonderful world of Barolo – where Nebbiolo (quite literally) rules over the land. Borgogno Winery are one of the oldest wineries in all of Italy! They started in 1761 in the hills of Langhe in Piemonte where the main region is Barolo and Nebbiolo is the grape behind these fantastic red wines. Over the centuries, Borgogno have crafted up quite the legendary reputation for their traditional Barolo wines that have a proven track record for ageing superbly well.

We’ve just managed to get our hands on this very handsome vertical collection compromised of the 1998, 2003, and 2006 Barolo Riservas. It weighs in at $450 – which is incredible given the current vintage price of the Barolo Riserva comes in at roughly $150!
